Short version: we collect almost nothing, sell nothing and delete on request.

What we collect

We collect your email address if you choose to sign up for the newsletter, and anonymous pageview counts. We run no accounts, no tracking pixels and no cross-site fingerprinting. If you never subscribe, we hold no personal data about you at all.

How we use it

Your email is used only to send the newsletter you asked for. We do not sell, rent or share it. Unsubscribe takes one click from any email, and your address is removed immediately.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy or ask for deletion. Email [email protected] and we reply within seven days. If a request is unclear, we ask for the minimum needed to find your record rather than guessing.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not run advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. The browser may store a small preference locally so a filter behaves sensibly during your visit. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us. If we add analytics later, we will use an aggregate, privacy-respecting setup and disclose it here first.

How long we keep data

Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake. Support emails are kept for two years, then deleted. Aggregate page counts contain no personal identifiers.

Children and sensitive data

The site is written for adults managing a home or a property purchase. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we ask that you do not send sensitive financial or medical details through the contact form.

You can browse the entire site without creating an account. That is deliberate. A guide should not require a login or an email address before it answers the question you came with.
